It maintains the perfect level of chlorine in our 225 gallon spa. Prior to buying the colorchlor, I could not use the spa very often because the chemicals made my skin very dry and itchy and I would have to slather on a ton of skin cream every time I used the spa. With the colorchlor I have no dryness or itching at all, the water is always perfect. We use our spa almost every day in the fall winter in spring, too hot in the summer! The unit could not be easier to install, just plug it in to a standard outdoor outlet and drop it over the side of the tub. programming it is a snap and it has easily paid for itself by saving us $$ on chemicals; now we just buy salt. It is so easy to manage! I virtually set it for the amount of water in my spa and have never had to do anything since. Even going on vacation for a week and turning my temperature down didn't alter it one bit, my water is always clean and ready to use when I want to. Installed it last Saturday, May 14, 2011 and very satisfied with the results so far. Can't believe how clear the water has been after a few days. Does feel better on the skin too. Have been using Baqua Spa since developing rashness on the skin with regular chlorine. Have been in the hot tub the past few nights and no itchy skin yet. As an Electronic Technician, the "Tap Technology" is new and different. It took a little bit of testing to get the right tap pressure but was relatively simple once you have gone through the different sequences. Working great. Should have looked into one of these sooner. I would recommend it to others as well. . . Thanks. . . Don I would recommend these units to others that have hot tubs as well. I have modified the comments below to include my thoughts as an Electronic Technician on the "Tap Technology". I did have to tell the guys I work with about it and your instructions like the "Double-Tap" and as a former Army Special Ops person, thought that it was the same technique that did in Usama BinLaden, a "Double Tap". I use the spa year round and we have no more problems in keeping the water crystal clear. I should have converted to salt a long time ago, especially at the price this product sells for.
